The S8 Plus and S8 Max both come with 64GB of storage and the same blue case design. The main hardware difference is the power port: the S8 Plus uses a round power port and USB 2.0 + USB 3.0 (no USB-C), while the S8 Max uses a USB-C power port along with a USB-C data port. Beyond that, the two differ in software access: Multi View on the Plus is limited to PPV + ESPN channels, while the Max unlocks full channel Multi View and adds a dedicated NFL app. That combination, not just the port, is why the S8 Max is priced $10 higher.
